Recology's Artist-in-Residence program lasted four months and was a transformative experience. I would encourage any artist working with recycled materials to submit to the program. Check out their LINK.

"Optic Illusion", SOUTHERN EXPOSURE's Annual Fundraiser is set for Saturday, April 26th from 7:30 - 11:00 pm at SomArts, 934 Brannan Street. My newest work will be auctioned off with a host of other leading or rising artists in the bay area to suppliment SoEx's budget for the coming year. A leader in the art community, earned by it's conviction to what art and artists are about, their presence is invaluable in our city and we must insure their continuation through our active support.

Follow-up to SOUTHERN EXPOSURE AUCTION: The auction was held in SomArts large main gallery this past Saturday, and was filled to the brim with enthusiastic art lovers! The live auction was fast-paced and exciting - and my two donated prints were very well received, closing out at double their value - and all for such a great cause! SoEx announced that they will be moving into their permanent home in the Spring of 2009 at Alabama and 20th!
MARCH 2008

THE LAB FUNDRAISER AUCTION on Saturday, March 15th. Come check out a print of mine up for auction for a very good cause. The Lab gives a forum and voice to those artists who push the limits of what art is defined to be. We need a space like this to experiment and create a dialogue with the public and our fellow artists.

Follow up to LAB AUCTION: Wonderful turn-out at The Lab on Saturday. Over 350 people showed up and $20,000+ was raised that night! My fern pod print created a frantic bidding war the last few moments of the silent auction and lots of people walked away with some wonderful art that night!

a.MUSE GALLERY GROUP SHOW on February 3rd. Great show with three other talented drawers: Chris Leib, Heidi McDowell and Tessa Merrie.
